Thanksgiving
THANKSGIVING “food” for thought…………………... If you woke up with more health then illness you are more blessed the million who will not survive the week. If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation you are ahead of 500 million people in the world. If you can attend any church meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torture or death you are more blessed then 3 billion people in the world. If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep, you are richer then 75% in this world. If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a jar someplace...

HOLIDAY HEALTH TIPS
The holidays are rapidly approaching and the weather is getting colder. This is the season when we tend to exercise less and eat more (like those holiday treats). Here are a few “tricks” to help keep you on your diet or exercise plan thru the end of the year. 1. Drink a glass of water before every meal (helps with portion control). 2. When shopping, practice speed walking to get some exercise. Parking further away also helps. 3. Try to limit some of those holiday treats to rewards for completing workouts. Always keep a positive attitude and be thankful for what we have (HAPPY THANKSGIVING)!!
New Medicaid Coverage for Thousands of People
One of the effects of the new healthcare law is that most states (including Kentucky) are now providing Medicaid coverage to many more people. This coverage does include chiropractic benefits and our office accepts both Kentucky Wellcare and Coventry. We hope this opportunity gives more people the chance to experience the benefits of care in our office.
