Meet Dr. Mikkelson

Lawrence R. Mikkelson, D.C. was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended Miami of Ohio on a wrestling scholarship and received his B.S. degree in science in 1986. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in Chiropractic at Life University in Atlanta, Georgia. His postgraduate work included programs in sports injuries, nutrition, and rehabilitation.

Dr. Mikkelson believes chiropractic is a vital part of a wellness-oriented lifestyle. His personal hobbies reflect his philosophy of natural health. He enjoys exercise, jogging, weight-lifting, and golf. He still involves himself as a high school wrestling coach in his spare time.

Dr. Mikkelson resides in Florence, Kentucky, is married to Jackie Rettay Mikkelson, and has two children, Andrew and Danielle.
